Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Windsor

Sebastian's Italian Restaurant

Unit 3, 2 Goswell Hill, Windsor SL4 1RH, UK – 01753 851418

Delicious! Although the spicy pizza wasn't quite as spicy as I'd like. Really great food, tough, antipasti and garlic bread :) good atmosphere and service, nice location just away from the hubbub of the main shopping street. You can even sit outside! Decent house wine, too. Didn't look at the wine menu, but lots of choice on the food menu. Honestly really good!

This is probably my favourite Italian restaurant in Windsor and possible the whole of the UK that I have tried so far. It is only a small place to definitely book when you plan to visit especially if on a Friday or Saturday. You can see the kitchen from the tables which I always love, and they have a brilliant large pizza oven and I could just watch it all evening! Has a genuine Italian feel here, and the food is so delicious! Have tried a range of the dishes there now and have enjoyed every single one! Only disappointment I have had, is when I get food envy when someone else orders something that looks better than mine! But I guess that just means I will have to visit again and continue my way through the menu ;)

Al Fassia Restaurant

27 St. Leonards Rd, Windsor SL4 3BP, UK – 01753 855370

Delicious authentic family run Moroccan restaurant with a lovely warm ambience and excellent service. It is a Windsor favourite and has been here for 22 years...it never disappoints xx

Some of the best food in Windsor. Never been disappointed with the food or service. Staff are great

Côte Brasserie - Windsor

71-72 High St, Eton, Windsor SL4 6AA, UK – 01753 868344

I used to go to this restaurant on a regular basis when it was The House On The Bridge. The opportunity came to visit it under the new ownership of the Côte Brasserie chain. Calling in on a Sunday evening without a reservation, we were well greeted and after a short wait, were found a table on the terrace, which is outdoors and overlooking the Thames. The location is ideal, situated on the Eton side of the footbridge which traverses the Thames into Windsor and the castle is just visible above the rooftops at the far side. The menu is standard Côte so if you have been to any of their restaurants before, you know what you get. The service was attentive and the food came in good time. A great place to rest your feet and enjoy a decent meal if you are in the area.

Beautiful view from the outside tables, enjoyed the cool breeze and the swans flying in and out. Food was delicious everything we had tasted good. Service was ok, it can definitely improve. They have a great location and very relaxing to seat in the outside tables. We wanted to come back but couldn't.
